NZ’s Biggest Hockey League is back

The Premier Hockey League is back for 2025, and the excitement is building as the full schedule has now been confirmed. With matches spanning the country again from the deep South in Dunedin to the heights of the North in Whangarei, fans can look forward to another exciting season of elite hockey action featuring their favourite teams including the Alpiners, Falcons, Mavericks, and Tridents.

This year’s competition is set to begin on Saturday, 8 November in Hawke’s Bay, and culminates in the Men’s and Women’s Gold Finals on Saturday, 13 December at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Auckland. This year’s format includes a well-timed rest weekend amidst a busy schedule, giving teams a chance to recharge before the final push. Fans can also look forward to two action-packed double-header weekends, offering even more opportunities to catch their favourite teams in back-to-back matches.
